whew. Level 50 finally. It's kinda funny how this game was really fun at level 10, pretty fun at 20, fun at 30, getting old at 40, and i'm prepared to never play it again at 50. oh well, still well worth the money!
I find that a lot of platformers tend to be that way... they keep ramping up the mechanics to a point where you get really tired of them.
Of course, with this game you had to play it multiple times through in order to get to lvl 50, so it becomes a lot of repetition. I'm sure you've found this out, but doing melee attacks, or exploding people via barrels, gives a multiplier that makes the levels go by a little faster.
i definitely dont mean to say i didn't enjoy the game and think it's a great value... it just hit my celiling on replayability is all.
How many times to you have to play it to get up to lvl 50?
let's see... 100% on normal, a botched attempt at minimalist (15% on casual), 4% on casual, 100% on insane, and i ground out the last few levels by playing the beginning a few times on insane.
I think I'm in the mid 30's last time I checked, still 15 to go. Insane mood is also insanely hard in certain plcaes so although for the mostpart I'm getting higher multipliers I end up wasting time being dead.
That was full of typos. I shouldn't write just after I wake up :/
But I understood it... is that a bad thing?
Nah, I think being able to read things despite numerous typing errors is a skill most people on the internet have learnt by now :P
