Yeah pretty much. I love the subtle changes in the game itself (changing the difficulty from the start menu, giving a three-second countdown after you unpause, etc.), and my primary reason for getting this was to give myself a proper and thorough "introduction" to the beatles, since i've grown up with them being the previous generations' legends and i've heard all the hooks and choruses ad nauseum throughout life but have never really sat down and listened to full songs or albums or given them a chance at being "something I'm into." In that it's a huge success. I've given closer thought to the songs i know, listened to plenty i don't know, and even heard a few that i've heard but didn't know they were Beatles tunes! My one gripe on that front is not enough songs. i KNOW the rights hassle in getting as many as they did must've been horrendous but... you know...where's Hey Jude or Yesterday or any of the other songs always listed as their "best" stuff? Maybe we'll see it via DLC (it'd be great if eventually their entire catalog was available) in which case it'll just be more expensive but yeah... that's my only gripe. the gameplay is wonderful and pretty much every song is FUN to play, which says a lot

That's assuming there is more in 2010, which would be great, but I'm not assuming anything. Getting the license to do this game cost Harmonix a ton of money ($10 million, going up to $40 million based on sales), and the licensing of their music is a pain in the butt I'm guessing. So many license holders with their music...
the rights must have been an absolute nightmare, but in the ideal world, whatever deal was made to remaster and re-release the albums would've also included their partnered deal with harmonix... but whatever. I think, if you compare it to say GH: Metallica or Aerosmith, we're getting a trememndous amount of content. But still, it would've been nice to have the game be complete.
Actually...after looking at what album Hey Jude is on..I wouldn't be surprised if they released it at some point as DLC. They already have a good chunk of that album (Hey Jude) in the game...it would make sense if they released it.
Maybe they will release it around New Years or something?
